Hayden Panettiere isn't afraid to bare it all - at least not on set.
"If I can't flaunt it at 20, come on!" Panettiere said while promoting
her new film I Love You, Beth Cooper, in theaters July 10. "I mean I
might as well show it now."
In the movie, Panettiere plays unattainable Beth Cooper, a high school
cheerleader and the object of dorky Denis Cooverman's (played by Paul
Rust) affection, and in one locker room scene, the actress drops her
towel.
"It didn't bother me much," Panettiere said of shooting the "reveal."
"I think when the person who's doing it gets all uncomfortable and
shy, then it's other people around who get more uncomfortable because
they're uncomfortable. I mean I was fine - everyone was really
professional."
Even so, Panettiere said she still deals with body image issues.
"The older I get, the more comfortable I get with it," she added, "but
I still have my days where I don't feel great ... and I'm having my
fat day where I have to put something baggy on and sweatpants. Or just
with the way people perceive me. I have plenty of insecurities."
But she tries to maintain a healthy lifestyle, she said. "I have the
body that I have and that's not going to change," she said. "I try to
stay as healthy as I can."
Panettiere now is gearing up for season four of Heroes, which returns
to NBC in late September.

There is no claim being made that she will be seen nude by the film viewer.
There is a subtle intent to hype the film with that promise, though.

I agree that that is very likely the bottom line, though it is
certainly possible that she (or, more likely, a body double) does do a
bare ass shot here, which would probably still allow the movie to get
a PG-13...

Trek) (jadziah Dax) because she is an Amazon, she's almost 6' 2" and has a
mouth like a toilet. She could fit in at a merchant sailors meeting. I took
my kids (years ago) to a CON where she spoke. I don't think she was speaking
of her role in Deep Space 9 as much as giving a dissertation on every 4 and
5 letter word known in the English language that was a cuss word. She

so skip a week, and then a couple of weeks, etc., and sometimes I
wouldn't even finish the episode I was watching because I reached the BS
or "formulaic Trek" level of what I could stand without tossing my
cookies. When Voyager premiered, I started watching it regularly and my
DS9 watching dropped even more. Then, I repeated the pattern with
Voyager.
DS9:
I couldn't stand the Bajorans.
I couldn't stand the brats, who were always getting into trouble/causing
trouble.
I never saw the episode where the Defiant first showed up.
I never saw Terry Farrell's last episode, and I didn't like her
replacement at all. (Didn't like that actress on "The Dead Zone,"
either.)
I never saw the finale.
Voyager:
I couldn't stand Janeway (Argh, that voice!), the Maquis or the "Bad
Hair Day/Spongehead" Kazon from the very beginning.
The characters who I found least objectionable were Harry Kim, the
Doctor, Kes and Seven of Nine though the latter was ruined by the
discussions with Janeway (ad nauseam) about her (7 of 9's) "humanity."
I watched only a few episodes after "Year of Hell" Parts 1 and 2, but
came back for the finale.

Nana Visitor had a high bitchiness quotient, but she was a last second
replacement for Michelle Forbes (Ro Laren), who unexpectedly quit, just
before DS9 launched. You have to cut them some slack, beause it's hard to
cast a job like that on infinitessimally short notice, after your top
choice has kneecapped you.
Michelle Forbes would have been great in that job, and all the fans loved
her madly.
