GREEM ACRES:
"Bundle of Joy". Oliver, who is NYC working on a lawcase, thinks someone
left a baby on their doorstep in Hooterville.

GREEN ACRES:
"Rest and Relaxation". Oliver's journalist friend is seeking peace and
quiet in Hooterville with Oliver and Lisa after his last assignment .
Hey! It's the Vietnam war!

THE O'REILLY FACTOR
� Obama targeting leakers?
� A trio of political scandals
� Investigating the White House chaos

FAMILY GUY:
"Viewer Mail #2". The British version of Faily Guy; Peter's touch turns
people into Robin WIlliams; a day from Stewie's PoV. I found his
interpretation of Peter and Louis making love in the next room amusing.

FAMILY GUY:
"Internal Affairs". Peter convinces Joe to have an affair after Bonnie
cheated on him. Argh, another long and pointless fight with a chicken
sequence.

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA:
"The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre". The gang crash Maureen's
wedding and make a disturbing discovery.

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA:
Charlie and Dee fall in love with some rich people.

After coming home from a week in Florida (fishing trip to
Apalachicola), I at least had a couple of genuine goodies to watch:

BATES MOTEL
It just keeps getting better and better. Norma is now
officially one of my favorite t.v. characters ever. I just sit in rapt
fascination wondering what she's going to do next.

Is Norman's brother going to do the pretty dumb chick? BTW, Jim, you
were completely right about her. I was really hoping she knew where
some sort of hitherto unknown important item was hidden in her
father's office, but no, she was just being rather selfish and stupid.

Love the potheads, love Norman screaming at them and love that they
got Lung Girl stoned. And I'm sitting on the edge of my seat wondering
how Norma is going to get out of the situation with Jere Burns. My
bet is, she kills him. That's going to make for an interesting
conversation with Sheriff Mascara.

I unfortunately had a mouthful of soda when Norma walked into Norman's
bedroom and said "Can I sleep here tonight?" I almost sprayed it onto
the t.v.

Grade: A+

GAME OF THRONES
Solid. They've slowed things down enough where they can get
more of the details into it. Another great scene with Daenerys as she
sends the messenger from Yunkai home without his gold or a peace
treaty.
I'm really sorry they spend so much time on the tedious story
of Theon Greyjoy. The northern scenes were a bit boring too, although
I love Ygritte and Jon Snow. But great stuff on the double wedding of
the two Lannisters, and especially the Tyrion-Sansa match., and also,
a good job on Jaime's rescue of the giant blonde warrior woman.

Grade: A

30 FOR 30 - The Two Escobars
This show is just plain good, mostly because they give the
film makers all the time they need. This one was about Pablo Escobar
(the drug lord) and the captain of the only good Columbian soccer team
ever, Andres Escobar, a sweet-tempered "good Catholic" boy known as
the "Gentleman of the Field", who were connected in a number of ways
and were both shot and killed in the same year.

Grade: A-

going.

Hannibal - Hannibal makes a new friend. :-) Some great lines, "I was
going to kill you. I was going to kill you too." (After breaking the
neck of his victim) "I was going to do that." "Thought I'd save you the
trouble." And it had a great fight scene at the end. This show just
gets better and better.


American Idol - Underwhelming season finale.


Criminal Minds - finally finished the episode from a few weeks back with
serial killers running a hotel. It really fell apart towards the end.

The choice of that girl is a downer for me. I still think she would be
great in Grimm, playing a mouse-like creature.

You might say that she's just a tad bit ... unpredictable.

My sense was that he was thinking with his little head when he first
agreed to take her there, but after seeing her genuinely upset by the
letters, his better side came out. Now I'm not really sure where it's
gonna go. This is a guy who, on the spur of the moment, just ran down a
dude not too long ago. A bad dude, granted, but Dylan still shows signs
of getting more than his share of Norma's unpredictability genes.

Well, if what she said about her Mom' tossing everything is true, I
think that you might be a little harsh on her here. I can see how she'd
want to have *something* of his of her own as a keepsake kind of thing.
So the watch kinda made sense to me, assuming that we can take what she
says at face value. (And how many of the characters here can we really
do that with, after all?)

That was just so wrong. And I'm not suggesting that it was anything
sexual on her part. But it was wrong regardless.

Well, plus, a guy who had just shot his friend/coworker in the head.
Really, I could see his point. Given that he has drifted into a life
of crime, it was a fairly strong move.

I'm really hoping that, like everyone else, she has some bizarre angle
on this. Since she must clearly die at some point.

Wanting to be around the last things that were left of her father is
not stupid or selfish. However, I think both of you probably don't
think there are much signifigence to the letters they recovered from

I am too. That makes at least two total psychopaths on the show: The
guy torturing and castrating Greyjoy, and that Lannister Boy King
Joffre. Both serial killers.

Agree. Always nice to see two refined, civilized, murderous
psychopaths fight. :-)

Too bad the ratings are terrible. It is only getting about 2.5 million
total viewers per episode. Horrible for broadcast network show.

So you turn him in. You don't avoid the police station and then run the
guy down on the spur of the moment when you happen to see him walking
by. Unless you've inherited a lot of your mom's unpredictability genes. :)

I kinda hope the opposite and that she's really an innocent. I just
don't want it to turn into a show where every dang person is in on
something or other. There *have* to be some normal, innocent types, IMO,
to provide some balance and sanity to things.

You missed the point of that scene. He did *not* like the idea when she
brought it up, as, at that point, he was in the relatively normal mode
of a kid who was trying to overcome the twisted baggage that Norma had
dumped on him over the years. But then Docile Norman took over and said
yes despite his initial look and body language saying no. And then when
Norma actually climbed into bed with him, he smiled the smile of a kid
who had just backslid a ton in the Mom Has F4ed Me Up department. Watch
it again and see the three stages of Norman. It was one of the best bits
of the entire episode, if also one of the creepiest. And Highmore
knocked it all out of the park.

SILENT WITNESS: True Love Waits (Parts 1 & 2).
I did not like the female cop being killed near the end,
even tho she was irritating at times.
This is a spoiler, but it was aired January this year, and
I am assuming the US, but perhaps only in the UK.
Good 2-parter.

I just think Bradley is a normal girl. Nothing nefarious or wierd
about her. Those by her father letters she and Dylan took could mean
something though.

Looking at from her POV, she is a mom cuddling with her child. It is
disturbing on one level according to social standards, I certainly
didn't want to cuddle up to mom when I was 17,, but it was innocent on
Norma's part.

That's because you give her more credit than I do in the brains
department. I'm not saying that she's stupid, mind you, but she does
strike me as the type who could be easily made clueless about this sort

Except that he's not her baby anymore. If she truly doesn't realize
that, then there is something wrong with her. And if she *does* realize
that but still wants to cuddle with him overnight, then there is
something wrong with her. In short, there is no way to interpret this
scene and not come away with the realization that there is something
wrong with her.

Agree completely. I also got a big kick out of it when big brother brings
the potheads to the hotel and ask Norma if they have any rooms available.

Norma has been terrific, and it's always fun to speculate where Norman's
'sex' life is going next. Is he going to get it on with the Blue Fairy
(high school teacher?) She seems pretty enamored of him. That would tie
in well with him having mommy issues.

BTW, do you think big brother looks like Jake Anderson (crew on the
Northwestern) on Deadliest Catch?

Yes, we won't know until next season gets here - but it's fun to
speculate and 'predict'.

It wasn't clear, but she'd had them removed, or some of them. Therefore
Sherlock reasoned that she wasn't the kidnapped victim she pretended to
