4.0 stars
I think this was the best ep of the season. Still room for improvement,
but I finally feel like the show is headed somewhere.

I give it 5.0 Stars.

Then you aren't using the crdie card to cover the cost of those purchases.
You are using the credit card as a convenience: exactly what I said that it
should be used for.

They would always want more money...just like you want more every day...just
like everyone else seems to want more more more all the time. never the
less, they make money without you paying a dime in interest, late fees,
etc... becasue they are given money as a transaction fee every time the card
is used.

Sure...the big bad credit cards companies...where any time you don't like
the way they do things you are freely welcome to quit using the card and
switch to some other companies card....or write a check...or use cash. More
attention from the press needs to be focused on the evil stealing consumers,
not the big bad credit card companies. Of course, that won't happen since
the consumers are the TV viewers...and since they are all firmly entrenched
in the 'victim mentality'.

That's a mischaracterization of what the commercials say. They discuss
CLINICAL depression and make it clear that's what they mean. One of
them even goes into the chemistry of the product.
This is not an acceptable example.

What about them? All of them mention cholestrerol.
Not an example.
I'm not bothering with the rest, or anything further. You're flailing,
and bringing up irrelevancies. Your point is unproven, and you continue
to try to move the posts and change the discussion, all without any
form of success. As such, I won't be following this branch any further.

The series shows all the hallmarks of a Braga show.

It sounds like some of the people here (the sci-fi group especially),
though I think they actually believe what they're saying. If something
isn't the best thing ever then it's the worst thing ever. Unless
there's a hot babe, in which case it's the worst thing ever but with
eye candy.
I find RASFTV is overly generous, even the worst episodes getting final
tallies in the 3s.

It would tend to be a bell curve (or normal distribution) if it were a
truly random and representative sample, but that's not what you get with
self-selecting polls. Instead, you get people on both ends of the
spectrum who are motivated to vote by their love or their hate of a
given show, which in turn will tend to give you results clumped more on
the two ends of the spectrum. The antithesis of a bell curve, in other
words.
And it makes sense, really. The only way to avoid it would be to insist
that people watch all kinds of shows and then rate them honestly. But
that's never gonna happen. For example, I can only rate shows that I
watch, and I only watch shows that I'm pretty sure I'm gonna like in the
first place (or else I wouldn't be watching them in the first place), so
I'm already messing up the randomness and representativeness of my own
sample by drastically increasing the chances that my ratings will be in
the upper half or even the upper quarter of the range of available
scores. OTOH, unlike some people, I *don't* torpedo shows that I don't
like by rating them extremely low, but there are people out there who do
*that* as well.
So... as long as things aren't random and representative, there's no
reason to expect a bell curve, and every reason to *not* expect one.
