C+ tuned in just to see if the magic was back. Some of the zaniness from
the first season is back, but some of the new characters are just poor
imitations of great first season characters that were killed off, sent off
or just went off. Kirsten Warren's character is annoying as all heck.
Won't be following this one like I did for season 1, but will ocassionally
drop in just to see what's going on.
> "Desperate Housewives" (ABC)
B+
Who knew that little town had such a large China town?!
Lots of fun, some thrills, wonder who's watching Bongo.
Happy its back.
A. It's much, much better than any of the reviewers would have you
believe. It's such fun to see Calista again. Though Kitty doesn't seem
like much of a RWA, Calista didn't remind me at all of Ally until she
and Josh Griffith were in the same frame. And I love Sally Field and
Rachel Griffiths.
> "Cold Case" (CBS) C. I'm over procedurals, but this has always been my favorite.
I recorded DH, but have yet to watch it. I didn't watch every taped ep
last year, so who knows if I will.

Grade: Incomplete
I didn't really pay attention to this (and I missed the beginning - are
the parents no longer credited?! they didn't seem to show up at all in
this episode), but it seemed like standard D&J, except that everyone
looked older (but not necessarily better).
Anyway, this show is usually one I can 'take or leave'.
> 7:30 pm Ned's Declassified... (NICK)
Let's do this by segment:
"A New Grade" - Grade: B-
Of the three storylines, only Ned's was LOL funny (Ned's story, at
least, was as good as the "Ned" of old). Cookie's segment with Gordy and
V.P. Crubbs was filler, and Moze's segment was just disappointing.
Still, Lisa Zemo really does look all grown up now, and it was good to
see that everyone from Billy Loomer's crew to Coconut Head to Mr.
Sweeney will be back to J.K.P.M.S. in season #3. :)
"Dodgeball" - Grade: A-
This one was much better and was funny throughout. (Also, Seth Powers
showed up in this one, so more of the cast appears to be returning for
season #3.)
This show is still, by far, the pick of the NICK litter. It's the only
'Must See' show in the bunch.
> 8:00 pm Zoey 101 (NICK)
Grade: C
I can already tell that this show will pretty much suck without the
character of Nicole. Which is funny, as I never really thought much of
the Nicole character when she was there. But Nicole was the "fun"
character (Quinn is the "crazy" character), and without Nicole "Zoey"
now seems like straight, unhumorous 'soap' (forget about Lola trying to
carry the 'fun' part...), rather than a comedy/soap hybrid.
And the final scene pretty much points in the direction of this show
going full-tilt 'soap'.
Beware, folks - this is exactly the same point when "Saved by the Bell"
went into the tank.
I don't expect much from season #3 of "Zoey" now, Quinn and Dustin, or
no...
BOTTOM LINE: Next week, watch "Ned...", skip the rest!! :)

"Read less. More TV." - Dr. Greg House, "House"
http://homepage.mac.com/ijball/TV-Blog/
I think the show has been trying to fire any female character with too
much personality who could compete with Jamie Lynn as fan favorite. So
Nicole and Dana are fired. Lola's just a tag-a-long of Zoey. Quinn's
too weird too worry about.
