I originally thought "Magic Show and Creepy Gene" was the final episode, but
apparently there are 2 more, namely "Red, Bath and Beyond" & "Pampered and
Tampered" & atm I don't know whether these are to be aired.
These 2 episodes make it a 13 episode season.

In the previous episode, namely "Tea and Psychopathy" there were
cliffhangers galore.
One of the witches was drowning in her bath, another was poisoned, and I
forget the calamity to the third - I think she was also poisoned.
Also Darryl had been stabbed.

In this episode all were alive & well again, magically, LOL

The 3 witches had made a pact, and we do not know the details AFAIK.
Also they killed Darryl's son, and again AFAIK we do not know the details,
tho it does show a car, apparently with the dead body inside, being put into
water.

This seems to be the final episode as all seems to end happily, and Darryl
is a good guy.
I thought "Red, Bath and Beyond" was going to be the episode aired, and
perhaps it is this episode that supplies the missing details. There is the
unresolved Creepy Gene, however.

I enjoyed this show which I thought was quite pleasant and entertaining.
The show says it was based on the book "The Witches of Eastwick", the movie
starring Jack Nicholson playing his usual maniacal self.

Was "Charmed" also based upon this book?
There are a lot of similarities.

Yes, according to http://epguides.com/Eastwick/, "Red, Bath and Beyond"
should have aired before this week's "Magic Snow and Creepy Gene" (going
only by the production codes, but it's a good guess). Obviously some of
the flashback scenes in this week's episode were from the missing one.
It was definitely disconcerting while watching, thinking (and later
confirming) that such a pivotal episode had been skipped.

There were too many lackluster episodes earlier on, but a few of the
early ones and all of the last several were very good.

Ah well... Maybe there will be a DVD release with the missing episodes.
I probably wouldn't buy it, but if I saw it at the library I'd take a
look at the missing episodes.

Ah. I thought I missed an ep last week or something. Thanks!

I was utterly confused. I thought I'd missed an episode.

Yep. From thefutoncritic, "Red Bath and Beyond" had been scheduled to air
Wednesday, but "Magic Snow and Creepy Gene" was substituted instead.

No. It originated as a rip-off/semi-shameless adaptation of the movie
The Craft -- by way of Charlie's Angels in significant respects. With
Leo obviously being the Bosley. The theme song was even used in The
Craft.

I thought my confusion was due to the lack of a previously on segment. But
now that I've read the above, I'm even more confused. So did they re-edit
two episodes into one for a new finale or is there still one (two) to go?

Any theories on the kid?
