Two new series and one returning series had their premieres tonight
(09/25/06).
The two new series are:
"HEORES" (ABC - new!)
"RUNAWAY" (CWN - new!)
The one returning series is:
"7th Heaven" (CWN)
So, what did you think?
All comments welcome; grades are good (letter grades preferred).

"Teenagers *are* FREAKS." - Lizzie McDonald, from "Life With Derek"
(episode 1.3 (#104), "The Party")
> "RUNAWAY" (CWN - new!)
The spirit of WBN lives! Uninteresting conspiracy, family that feels
like a bunch of actors thrown together the day of filming, and lots of
face time for boring, brooding teenagers. If this and "Hidden Palms" is
around in May and "Veronica Mars" isn't there'll be hell to pay.
Grade: D
> "RUNAWAY" B.
For the fifth or sixth time this season, the critics lied. Good enough
I didn't miss EVERWOOD at any point. Not that I loved EW by the time it
ended. Amy Abbott was TV's most seriously flawed character, and not in
any good way.
> "7th Heaven" F.
For this they cancelled EVERWOOD? I'm not watching 7H, btw. I give it
an F simply for existing.

NBC, actually. Haven't watched the broadcast (I was watching VANISHED;
I'll watch this either on its encore tomorrow or on Sci Fi Friday),
but based on the downloaded pilot from a couple of months ago, I
think it's OK, but not the be-all and end-all that so many sf and
comics fans appear to think it is.
> "RUNAWAY" (CWN - new!)
Lousy. Couldn't stand any of the characters, didn't like the premise.

Never watched it, don't plan to start.

Ah. I was *wondering* who it was that liked it.
(Besides the highly influential "Hayden Panettiere in a cheerleading
outfit, hubba-hubba!" contingent, of course.)

Heh--I was beginning to think her invulnerability prevented her from
changing out of her bloodstained, dirty, burned, and ripped
cheerleading outfit there for a while...g!

B+ liked it a lot more than Surface but it'll probably last just as
long.

Saw a preview for it on my DirectTV...the preview made me gag. Whiney
teenage brats on the run with Mom and Dad...shoot me now.

Why the hell did they bring this corpse back to life?
