Thanks for the recomendation. I remember coming across that some
time ago but dismissed it as too silly even for my taste. Now that
I think of it, it shouldn't be that surprising that the ST clips
can be matched to the MP soundtrack so well...

As thanks I give you this little beauty:

And everyone's seen this?

Space: 1969

.. which makes me wonder why they haven't tried to do a series based
on "Assignment: Earth," you know, "Gene Roddenberry's 'Assignment:
Earth.'"

Well, the original Assignment: Earth was a pilot that didn't sell.
There's a recent comic book series by John Byrne based on it that was
pretty good, and Gary Seven, Roberta, and Isis figure prominently in the
first two books of the KHAN paperback trilogy.

So who would you cast as Roberta? Lisa Kudrow? :)

NOTHING will ever match Hitler in "Der Untergarten" going off on the
Nikon D3x's $9000 price tag.

Nothing against Lisa, but I would pick Jennifer Aniston for that role.

I was thinking about Terri Garr playing Phoebe's mom in Friends. :)

I looked up their ages on IMDB -- Robert Lansing was 40 in 1968, Lisa
Kudrow is now 46.

Idea! Do a gender reversal and have Lisa Kudrow as "Mary Seven" and a
young guy as her clueless-but-capable executive assistant "Robert
Lincoln"! This can exploit that whole mature woman/younger man angle
that's so in vogue, and LK seems to be very popular among Trekkies (or
so anyone reading this thread would think ;-)).

Isis isn't Asian!

Well yeah, she's Aegis. :-)

Nice!

My criterion would be that any actress playing that role should make men
utter the cry: 'Miau!' in an enthusiastic practically rude manner :-D

Works for me. Of course, the obvious choice is Morena Baccarin.

Or one playing any role, for that matter, unless the character's age or
whatever precludes it. :)
