Dalek on "Better Off Ted"

Kind of an odd placement...has a Dalek ever been on an American
program before (well, besides from the reference in the 1996 TV movie
of "Doctor Who")?
In the episode, Phil and Lem went into the basement of Veridian
Dynamics, where they were told old robots were disassembled and used
in other machinery. They went looking for a cleaning device which had
just been removed from their lab.
In the background of the basement storage room -- dead-on in the
center of the picture -- was a Dalek. Kind of threw me for a second,
as it was probably the last thing I'd expect to see on an American
comedy.

I completely cracked up...
It was a very authentic looking Dalek -- wonder if they're just
rentable...?
