Oh and by the way I can't see your network. Ever since the analog
shutdown, I haven't been able to see the new digital signals
(Harrisburg is too far away, and channel 6 in Philly is too low
power). Thanks FCC.
At least I have online access.

They said all along that this was just a brief taste, and then it would
conclude in the spring.

That they were only going to be showing the first four episodes before
taking a break actually has nothing to do with the showrunner issues
-- the decision to move it up predates Jeffrey Bell's demotion/removal
(whichever) by something like a month. Had V not premiered this
month, it still would have been four episode pod premiereing in
January, then taking a break for the Olympics, then coming back after
the Olympics in March.
Although I *suppose* one could argue that the reason that the show's
first four episodes were moved up is given that these first four
episodes were so good (not classic yet, but still good) and maybe they
did see the showrunner issue far enough in advance, ABC decided that
the best course of action was to move up the premiere date, before the
showrunner news had gotten any real traction and thus, save the show
from being written off by the viewers two-three months ahead of its
original premiere date in January.
