I was a little surpised by how queasy the sight of Bobby's cut made Vicky. It
seemed a little off for a mother of two boys to be that scared of blood. Has
she always been this way?

You know, when I saw that scene I had exactly the same thought!
Her little boys are so busy and rough-and-tumble that you would
think that Vicky has probably cleaned up a few nasty cuts. Oh well,
I guess TPTB want to continue in the "weak, helpless female" vein
that they've been following recently with all of their female
characters.

Nah, Bridget probably cleaned up the kids and Vicky has been either
living in hotels or leaving the kids at the Cory mansion mostly. Now
there's Etta Mae. You can clean up a lot of cuts and still be queasy
at the sight of blood.

Was it really the blood she was queasy about, or the idea of watching
someone get stitches? Not something I'd care to watch, either. I'm sure
if it were one of the boys she'd have stayed with him, though.

I understand the POVs being put forward in this thread, but I really
enjoyed it because it is so true to life. No matter what some people
are just always going to be squeamish. That doesn't mean they can't
rise to the occasion. (She did drive him to the ER & get him into
Morgan's capable hands!) But, as soon as they have the opportunity to
put distance between them & the squeam-ette, they flee. LOL. There
is something very real & good feeling about all of the scenes around
Vicky's new house it seems to me. I wonder if this is their way of
giving the farm back to us, ...

No, it seemed to be the blood, 'cause she was wincing (spelling?) all the
way through, not just when the mention of stiches came up.
