Hi all, I am a new poster here, I have just accepted the fact that I am
actually addicted to this show :)
I just wanted to  give my two cents worth to this group.  After
watching DOOL for over 3 months, I have come to the conclusion that Jack
my favorite character!  Jennifer dose not deserve him!  At first I
thought he was a creep, but after awhile I started to respect him.  I
would LOVE to see Jack and Laura get together and ditch Jennifer.
Well, it was nice to finnaly post somthing, I am sure you will
see me around more :)

Hello!  This will be my very first post and you have given me the
courage to do so!!  I've never posted anywhere actually, so I hope
this comes out right!  I just wanted to say I like Jack too -- I
think he's got a lot of spunk, its sad Jennifer doesn't believe him,
sometimes I want to slap her!

Melissa

Well, you know that is the first step :)

Welcome to both of you!!!!!  Just remember - posting is addicting (and sometimesRATS is a lot more interesting than DOOL!!!!!!)

I agree that Jennifer is a brainless, spineless mannequin.  I don't really
like Jack, but he IS actually using a brain and not letting Peter snow him.
How Jennifer is so stupid (wasn't she even SLIGHTLY suspicious with the tape?)
is beyond me.

I also think that Jack and Laura have the most chemistry on the show right now.
Their scene in bed (which we have been treated to for about 50+ times) was
quite steamy and unlike Jenn and Peter, it didn't seem forced or fake.  I reallyfeel that when they are in a room together (Jack and Laura, that is) there is
some sort of attraction that they can't deny.  I just wish that the actor playing Jack was case as someone else and they could bring back Matt Ashford (who
COULD act and would bring out the best in Jenn).

Oh, well, one can always hope....

Quit hoping, Jessica.  Matt Ashford has been signed to a three
year contract by General Hospital.  There is no hope for DrOOL
in any case.

Ya know, just last night I found myself being *AMAZED* once
again watching GH at how *outstanding* that show is.  The
conversation between Sonny and Lily was just soooo good,
characters really relating to each other, discussing
feelings and emotions, and analyzing and not always
understanding their feelings but acknowledging them
just the same.

Then I thought about DOOL.  And laughed!  They never do
anything like that.  They always seem to be trying for
high drama and excitement and tension ... and failing
miserably.  The characters are so, so superficial.  All
conversations seem so contrived and petty and only seem
to occur so they can set up the next scene.  The unanswered
questions, the rewritten past, dropped storylines.  The
constant near-misses, last-minute interruptions, couples
breaking up simply because they refuse to communicate.

Why do I still watch this show??  Habit, I guess ...
11 years invested.  But GH is the one I really *enjoy!*
