DOOL:Who was Cynhia Brooks ?

the end of it when all theese people all taking about it they have some short
to say about it and some woman with short hair named Cynthia Brooks is on and
under her name it says Days of Our Lives. Now, I have been watching this soap
for a looonnnggg time, and have no idea who this woman is. Does anyone know?
The only person that comes to mind that she could have played was Ginger. So
who was she?

J. Cynthia Brooks (as she was credited on the show) played Bo's training
officer, Taylor McCall, when he first became a cop. What a waste of
(what seemed to be) a terrific tallent. Remember the lame way they
decided to make her Lawrence's "mole" on the force and dumped her so
unceremoniously? What dopes. I mean...the character dies under
"mysterious" circumstances (she'd supposedly been a highly-decorated
officer for years and it suddenly turns out she's been working for
Lawrence) and nobody cares? Bleah. Yet another reason -- in a *very*
long list of reasons -- why I stopped watching the show. DOOL dropped
the ball yet again. All to make Bo (and RKK) look good. Now there's a
losing effort if ever there was one.

A few years ago she was Bo's partner...I think that she ended up being on
Stephano's payroll. I remember she was shot and died in Bo's arms.

I've never seen this, but I'll take a wild guess. Since you
mention Ginger, who was blond, could it possibly be the
waitress (don't remember her name) at the Brady Pub? I
saw her once on Pure Soap, and apparently, she's been on
the show for quite some time. I think she's one of the
longest running "background" actors or something.
