A tornado hit monday night in Mattoon Illinois and a tree was blown over
which left the town without power. Another tornado hit the town of Mt. Olive
Illinois which is 44 miles NE of St. Louis, off interstate 55. It was an EF
2 and its path went 4 blocks down Main Street with winds of 135 miles per
hour. John K was thinking about buying a home on Main Street there, but
doesn't yet know if it was damaged or not.

I think that's it in a nutshell. :-)

A small one. Nothing like the ones that hit OK.

Thank you Cheri for interpreting John's post. Karen
wasn't the one who was confused. I was scratching
my head and wondered if we had another bot roaming
on ratsc. Hello to Markkiss if you're reading this.

John, if I may be so bold as to offer a bit of advice? Please
spend some time editing your posts. Most of time, you
write coherent stuff but I'm stunned by your last one,
especially the Subject Line, mon toenado in illinois.
Let me make a suggestion: Tornado struck Illinois on Monday

Thank you for attention.

Hey we've all made mistakes at times when we post stuff. I should have
doubled checked the writing before i posted. Heck i've seen where
newspapers got dates wrong or words spelled wrong.
