B&B's popular star, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy), is leaving the show.
"Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is taking a short break, as she has done in the
past, from B&B," confirms a spokesperson for the No. 2 soap. "She remains
as the character of Steffy Forrester and is continuing to tape, currently with
episodes airing through July of 2013 and then beyond." Digest learned the
actress had wrapped filming and was sent flowers on her last day; turns out,
she is taping again this Friday. For the full story, check out the new issue of

their lazy work habits and production of ambivalent, poor quality scripts?

love triangle, dammit! We the audience know and deserve better. Make sure
Bradley Bell gets a memo too since he sets the tone for the piss-poor quality

This is soooo ambivalent. Is she staying or going? She's still taping
regularly, but she's taking a break?

While I don't watch the show, I've seen it and her on occasion, and
always thought, 'man, did they ever find someone who really looked as
though she could have been the daughter of Hunter Tylo and Ronn Moss. Her
resemblance to both made her perfect for the role.

There's another actress on the show (but I don't know her name). She
looks as though she's a younger version of Phyllis on Y&R, and I thought
she would have been a closer match to Phyllis (as her younger sister) than
Avery was. Avery looks nothing like Phyllis.

I don't know who that would be. Hope? I can't think of anyone else that
would even come close.

I think that's the character she plays. She just has a certain look
that reminds me of Phyllis and would have made a better fit as Phyllis'
sister than Avery.

Okay, now you're getting me confused. That's another name that sounds
familiar. Like I said, the inly time I've seen parts of the show was when
Jackie or the one that looks like Phyllis was on, as I clicked through the
channels.

Is there a cast photo I can look at, somewhere online? What are
Bridget's and Hope's real names? I can do a Google image search and
confirm which one I'm referring to.

Okay, I was able to find pics of each actress on Google images and the
actress is Hope played by Kimberley Matula. She has a similar look to
Phyllis around the eyes and nose which gives her a 'family' resemblance to
Phyllis.

The other one mentioned, Bridget, used to play crazy Tricia's sister
on Y&R. Tricia killed Ryan, when he was about to marry Victoria, and her
sister was in love with Tony Verdeshi, the guy who found Cassie for Sharon
way back when. Tricia also ran down and killed Tony, while he was on his
motorcycle, as he was pulling into their driveway; if memorey serves me
correctly.

Well, I do agree about Hope, there are times when she does get a calculating
look like Phyllis does, but she's way too young to play the part of Phyllis'
sister. She could have been Summer more easily.
