Things didn't go as I would have guessed with the triangle. I would have thought that Liam would act amazed and give Steffy a hug. And that Hope would have walked away for good. And that Steffy would make it clear that she is simply informing him, and inviting him to be a dad to the child, but that there is no future for them as a couple (seeing as how she walked in on his wedding ceremony).

Instead, Liam looked dazed and unhappy. It seems he really had decided on Hope after all. He came across as someone who is completely over Steffy. He said the ceremony wasn't about Brooke's strong-arming. Hope is looking like she's not going anywhere, but it's still early. She had promised not to walk out on him anymore, but there wouldn't be smooth sailing sharing him with Steffy and now a baby. Steffy asked Liam "can you ever forgive me" and said she's giving him the choice of raising the child together or not together. So she is saying they can still be together. She has sunk to a new low. Totally out of character, IMO. What happened to not using the baby as a trump card? She held off on doing this until she had to. How can she still want this guy?

She should be a single mom. He should be a single dad. And Hope should return to Oliver and forget all about the bad dream named Liam.

Yes, that cracked me up, all the "I won't trap Liam" blah blah blah, so what
changed if he was making a different choice? None of these people are ready
to be married, they're really years away from any sense of anything but
pleasing themselves.

I agree, how can Steffy continue to hold on tho Liam. He STILL waffles!
It's always been hardly watchable, but it's simply unbearable now.

I also agree with you about Steffy going her own way, raising her child
with Liam as much in the picture as he wants to be and letting Hope have
him. Both Liam and Hope are no prizes, if you ask me. Any young woman
with a mother like Brooke, who manipulates people like she did them, comes
with her own set of problems. Steffy's wise to steer clear of both psychos
and their parents.

So, will Hope be disappointed and get angry at her mother for interfering in her life (after all she says she is an adult now)or just accept it? She really is dumb.

And, too many inconstancies in the writing.

Also, I was wondering - all of a sudden, Brooke wants a Catholic priest to
marry her daughter? The Logan's are Catholic? The Foresters?? Don't
couples have to have pre marital counseling sessions, etc before they can
marry as Catholics? Is this Italian priest a renegade?

This elopement storyline makes no sense on so many levels.

It's hard to imagine these two girls being degraded more than they have been, but apparently it's not over. Things didn't work out for Hope and Liam because he made sure to keep Steffy on standby month after month. It's bad enough Hope begged him for forgiveness not long ago; this week we got to hear Steffy ask if he could ever forgive her. Now he's made a baby with Steffy and Hope is still hanging around pitching her case for marriage. When she dumped him awhile back she was warned that she was handing him over to Steffy. It's all a little bit late now.

Yes, they do have to have counseling and no priest would marry them under
these circumstances. Maybe Brooke met him when he was a young boy while she
was at the nunnery. LOL
