Why is Birdlegs Kane wearing that flapper girl 'do? Won't it be
confiscated (or sprayed for lice) once she goes to the big house? I
don't find it particularly flattering - sort of like she's channeling
Dixie's Dutch Boy pageboy, only in chestnut.
Guess she doesn't have the guts to have her own limp locks chopped.
And why the tasteless S&M leather suit for court? Really, I'm not
getting the identity crisis she's going through [okay, grammar police,
I ended with a preposition, but let's just keep it between you and I,
'kay? ?;^)].

Mare - looks like an Eva Gabor to me... that needs to be crated...
like a papillon... or a yorkie

With the hair and the glasses I thought she looked like Anna Wintour.

Oh, funny. I was thinking that it was much more age-appropriate than
the long feathery 'do and that it looked pretty sharp.

Did you know that Susan Lucci is a few months younger than me? I'm
going to be 62 in July.

I hated the look. She does better with a softer look. And when she
does her head tossing, only her earrings move.

(I'm still wondering what Miranda called her on the phone. Was it
"Hi, Mommy's Mommy"?)

If it were her own hair, I might not have such a problem with it. But
it looked like she
was trying out for the part of Velma in a dinner theater production of
Chicago. She has
hair like mine - fine and thin. What she was sporting wasn't hers -
too thick and helmety
(or would it be "Helmuty" in her case?)

Mare - I'm a Cancer baby too!

LOL! Helmuty it is.

In my FF frenzy, I must have missed something. Was she supposed to have
actually cut her hair? I assumed that was supposed to be a wig she was
wearing so that she could get into court unrecognized or something along
those lines -- and that when she went to the Big House (tm), she'd be back
to her longer locks.

LOL

I had heard somewhere, very recently, that what we think about prepositions
and their proper (or improper) use at the end of sentences may not be what
we think! For anyone who's interested, here's one link about it:

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Is_it_proper_grammar_to_end_a_sentence_with_a_preposition

I think it's fine, even if it's something not everyone can agree on.

Well, the informal rule I use is if the sentence-ending preposition
can be dropped without changing the meaning of the sentence, then you
shouldn't use it because it's probably superfluous. I got no problem
with you ending your sentence with a preposition, but I do got a
problem with the "agree on" construction. I would prefer "agree upon".

Miss Kane, of course! (or perhaps "Sis"?)

No I think we are to assume it is a wig. The wig and the big glasses
were her lame attempt to be incognito as she entered the courtroom.

To me, it's so hard finding other ways to phrase the sentence! Thank
you for giving me this site to go to. ;)
