Yeah, you need to put in a *lot* more work than just liking
MST3K. Maybe you could try something in fanfic, or obsolete forms
of electronics, or try the fundamental unit of blogging (making fun
of Superfriends). Something in there might get you nerd credentials.

There are questions that every thoughtful individual needs to answer at
some point, such as "What is the meaning of life?", "How can we create a
just society?" and "What makes me a nerd?". To answer these questions,
you must meditate and examine your own soul, for in this quest for
knowledge, you will receive little enlightenment from the 4chan threads.

What make any of us a nerd? There is a different answer for every nerd
that has ever lived. In my case, what makes me a nerd is my crush on
Velma Dinkley.

How about if you dress up as Crow?

I've seen her live-action portrayal by Linda Cardellini, so I don't know
if that makes you a nerd so much as it makes you a right-thinking
heterosexual male.

How about going to a convention? I mean a scifi or fantasy or Trek one,
not the Republican National. You need to let others know of your
nerdiness and join with other nerds to have fun without strange looks or
bullying.

Judith, who got her nerd credentials at Gateway Con.
