They say they can find anything on the internet... I need proof:
(No, newsgroups and DejaNews do not count)

Can anyone find these things?

1. A good review for "A Night at the Roxbury."
2. A Bachman-Turner Overdrive fan site. (not official site)
3. Lyrics to Rufus Wainwright's "April Fools."
4. A (non-joke) cookbook for cooking cats.
5. A Wolverine/ Freddy Krueger cross-over fanfic
(If one does find this, please send it to me for possible
MiSTing.)
6. A rant warning parents of the dangers of letting your
kids watch "Monty Python's Flying Circus"
(Again, if you can find this, I'd gladly MiST it...)
7. A site devoted for the finding words in alphabet soup.
8. Downloadable sound clips from one of the "Vice
Academy" movies.
9. A review defending William Shatner's singing.
10. A homepage of a bowling champion.
11. A foreign language Breeders site.
12. 3-D model of a Campbell' soup can.
13. An anti-Pablo Picasso web site.
14. "Empty Nest" fan-fiction.
15. A pro-tan M&M's site.
16. A song parody of an Elvis Costello song.
17. A place selling autographed Hasil Adkins photos.
18. www.Amish.com
19. A list of the world's greatest piccolo players.
20. A cartoon image of Satan playing a ukulele.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was at some die-hard Trekkie site, but I
ain't going there. I just got the first Golden Throats CD... Whoever
honestly supports his singing deserves a Boot to the Head.

I swear I've seen this somewhere, but I don't think it was on the
internet.

NOW you do this?! Now that I have to go to work and half of it's been found?

Tell you what, RATMMers... Tomorrow (Monday), everyone come up with one thing they'd like me to find within one hour of their post, and I'll do it.
This is a outright RATMM challenge.

OK. Here's what you have to find, Mr. Peacock. A picture on the web of

No. However, after challenging you to find said picture, I tried myself

Well, it's about a movie... but it'll do. 50 pts. Why are movies
coming
out that try to make Picasso look bad, and others trying to turn the
person who shot Andy Warhol a genius? Indie filmmakers are weird.

I'm a very humble person when it comes to real life accomplishments, Rob.
Besides, people can only take so much of mice before they snap and start to
post random innuendoes on a newsgroup.

But, as an award for finding it, you get this free blender! It blends things,
see? Oh, by the way, I tried to make homemade paper in it one time for an art
project which didn't quiet work out so it may not blend too well...

hmmm... http://www.HA!.com ... No response? Rob? What kind of crap is this?
:)

(Side note: I tend to gravitate back and forth between search engines. I'm on an
AltaVista kick right now, but HotBot is good. I used to use Yahoo! ... excuse me
for a moment ... <muffled crying> ... ahhh.)

My advice:

Use Yahoo when you need to find out something in a broad category, or find the best site in one
category. (Best Beck site, for example.)

Use Alta Vista or Infoseek when you want to find a *specific* phrase or title. (Example: lyrics for
Beck's "Burnt Orange Peel".)

Use Hotbot for the really tough nuts. They allow for Boolean searches, so you can make a search as
precise as you possibly can. (Example: "Jeffrey Johnson" AND "underwear" OR "boxers" AND "jpg" OR
"gif".)

If all else fails, try Lycos or Northern Lights.

I have no idea. I was just thinking up something really odd.

Alright, that's OK. If anyone else wants to see this site, run a search
on "return of e. t." at Altavista. You'll also find a video rental store
that specializes in films with child stars that carries Pod People
(Under the title "Return of E.T."

Sorry, Rob. You may be very knowledgeable on your searches, but in this
case Hotbot ain't gonna help you.

JSJ1TG, now, I don't know much about this sort of thing, but do pages have
to get 'registered' with individual engines, or how does that work?
