The MacKnight Foundation is now casting for its TWO Philly Fringe
productions -

I HATE MONOLOGUES
written by Mark Knight, directed by Bill McKinlay
Casting:
TWO FEMALES

THE ALPHABET PLAYS
written by Bill McKinlay, directed by guest directors
Casting:
FOUR FEMALES - each actor will have 6 separate roles.
FOUR MALES - each actor will have 6 separate roles.

Experience with physical comedy is a plus for all characters. A small
stipend is included. All roles are non Equity.

These productions will run September 15 - 22. There are SIX(6) performances
of each production. Weeknight and weekend rehearsals will begin in early
August.

Auditions will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 10am - 6pm at the
University of the Arts. Specific room location and audition slot will be
given when your audition is scheduled.

Deadline for receiving headshots / resumes is July 9, 2012.

All actors will present a one minute comic monologue.

Those interested in "I HATE MONOLOGUES" will also prepare a one minute
Shakespeare monologue.

I HATE MONOLOGUES - a fast, nasty full length comedy

Casting for -

Soozi : (female - youngish) An ingénue, but very good at it. Very smart.
More energy than a barrel of coked-up monkeys. Talents in physical comedy
and movement preferred.

Bree: (female - older than Soozi) American. Articulate, charming,
ambitious. Ability to command a room, yet be crushed by a single word or
look.

THE ALPHABET PLAYS - Alliteration Gone Wild!! 26 Letters, 26 Plays (all 2-3
minutes in length)

Within each individual play, every word begins with the exact same letter.

Casting for -

FOUR FEMALES - each actor will have 6 separate roles. Roles not listed are
TBD. Every age / race will be considered.

First Female

- sorority girl
- aggressive siren
- Murder Mystery sidekick or matron
- young widower
- young yachter

Second Female

- sorority girl
- older wife @ funeral
- aggressive siren
- nervous tranny
- TOPLESS card player (NUDITY is a requirement for this role only)

Third Female

- adventurous fiance
- Songstress (guitar/keyboard talents a plus, but not necessary)
- coy siren
- masseuse or female client

Fourth Female

- coy shotgun wielding camper
- religious fanatic
- Murder Mystery sidekick or matron
- masseuse or female client

FOUR MALES - each actor will have 6 separate roles. Roles not listed are
TBD. Every age / race will be considered.

First Male

- nervous fiance
- older husband @ funeral
- Murder Mystery detective or husband
- ½ female, ½ male, suicidal
- young foodie

Second Male

- nervous camper
- nerdy shopper
- jilted stepson
- foodie

Third Male

- adventurous fiance
- withdrawn gay lover
- Murder Mystery - bratty kid
- young yachter

Fourth Male

- withdrawn gay lover
- nervous religious zealot
- Murder Mystery detective or husband
- pick-up artist
- NAKED card player (FULL FRONTAL NUDITY is a requirement for this role
only)
