depends on the role(s) you are trying for - but just about any other
Ashman and/or Menken song that's similar in tone/voice type to the
role you're shooting for should be appropriate. I would shy away from,
say, the Elton John/Phil Collins Disney tunes.

Just bear in mind that there really are no true "belt" roles in Beauty
And The Beast - Mrs. Potts would come closest, as her part is written
primarily low range, but I'm not really sure I'd consider that a belt
role even so. All the other female roles should be able to sing
somewhat "legit" or at least be comfortable in a basic soprano range.

But it's pretty much impossible to really answer your question without
knowing what role(s) you have in mind, what type of company this is
(professional/community/college/high school, etc) and what your
experience is...;-)

that is mostly true, but in the song a change in me. toward the end
you can either go into a heavy mix or a belt. i have heard it both
ways.

Interesting that this cut song is in the vocal selections and on the
karaoke!

Cut song? Hardly.

It was added to the show in 1998 and has been surprisingly popular
with performers. I don't like it at all.

It doesn't add anything.
