In the new Star Trek trailer, a young Kirk is asked what his name is. He responds by saying "My name is James Syberius Kirk". ...or does he say "Tiberius"?

He definitely says Syberius. Obviously I haven't seen it yet since I live in the uk but as someone who's watched all the Movies\Series over the last 30 years I am dreading this new movie. I think it will be the worst thing ever. JJ Abraham has openly said that he doesn't care about the fans or what they think. It will definitely be the end of Star Trek unless it makes absolutely millions at the box office and get a few Oscar nominations(which I personally dont think will happen). Going by the trailers that I have seen I have to say that sadly Star Trek will not live long & prosper.

My take, for what it's worth, is that the young James T. Kirk needed his teeth corrected, so had a plate or whatever, at the time!
Saw the movie last week...not bad and hopefully does re-start the Trek Universe.

Perhaps he lost some teeth by leaving a car at high speed, falling, and nearly falling off a cliff!
