Some Upgrades over NX-01 series to include:
1.Energy Deflector Sreens and Shields to become Primary Defense
Apparatus in place of Polarzed Hull Plating.
2.Greatly Enhanced all-around abilities facilitated by new all-access
policy to heretofore restricteed Vulcan technology.

I knew it was over when they started using tech that was supposed to be new in the Original Series era.
