Eastercon 2008 looks like a good one. It will be held from
March 21-24 at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel near London's
Heathrow Airport.

Neil Gaiman
Tanith Lee

San Jose, California.

http://baycon.org/2008/index.html

The con will be held at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency from
May 23-26.

Looking far ahead...

WorldCon 2009 will be held August 6-10 in Montreal.

Neil Gaiman - Guest of Honor
Elisabeth Vonarburg - French speaking Guest of Honor
David Hartwell - Editor Guest of Honor
Tom Doherty - Publisher Guest of Honor
Julie Czerneda - Master of Ceremonies

The U.S. dollar has shrunk noticeably since the early membership
rates for WorldCon 2009 were published on September 27.

Back then, less than six weeks ago, early membership cost 50 USD
and 55 CAD. Today those rates would be reversed.

If it actually takes place.

Stoned koala bears drooled eucalyptus spittle in awe
as <m...@privacy.net> declared:

I'm fairly certain it will. (The reasons for the replacement of the
scheduled 2007 British Eastercon with a short-notice rescue bid simply
don't apply -- not unless someone has physically transplanted the
Liverpool Adelphi to Heathrow -- and preparations for the con, at least
from a GoH's worm's eye point of view -- are running on schedule.)
