Well, if you've noticed there are more than one, you've already seen
all that there are.

_Assassin's Apprentice_
_Royal Assassin_

And at least one more to be published.
I'm hoping it's an actual trilogy, in the sense of three books, not an
extended series, but I won't be upset either way as long as the
quality of the writing is kept up.

Is there a release date associated with it?
Or better yet, a sample chapter somewhere?

Book Three is scheduled for April 1997, which means it should show up in
stores in mid-March. According to the cover copy, "Completing Robin
Hobb;s stunning epic, Assassin's Quest is a richly written novel, the
work of a major talent. and "From Robin Hobb, the new master of fantasy,
comes the third and final book in the magnificent Farseer Trilogy."

Thanks to those who replied with the information. One of them mentioned April 97 as a release date.
Haven't heard of a sample chapter anywhere though.

Looking forward to reading this series,
