My father asks: Do you remember any book (or story) that had this in it?
Something about personal transformation.
Thanks much ... Scott

It's from the book _Logan's Run_. Basically walk-in/walk-out cosmetic
surgery.

These opinions are mine. No one else will admit to them.

It rings a bell, but I'm not sure. It might be something by
John Varley, since he did a series where medical technology/plastic
surgery was so perfect, you could have any body (2 wds) you wanted.
Might be where the lady had the sex change in _Options_.

The book "Logan's Run" contains a "New You Shop" which is a Plastic
Surgery center.

The New You Shop is from the book/movie "Logan's Run." It altered a person's
appearance with the same effort as a modern day haircut. Incidentally, for
those who were mildly disappointed with the movie, read the book. Much better
story IMHO.
