The Red Sitters
|
| |
This not necessarily a timely question, but my notes say Javindhra replaced Teslyn, but wot.wikia.com says Duhara replaced Teslyn. The Faq's section on the Too Young Sitters isn't clear as to which replaced Teslyn. Does anyone know who replaced Teslyn and who replaced Elaida?

Towers of Midnight
|
| |
Book 13 it has been stated will be T.O.M. When doing a reread recently I noticed in chapter 40, Damane, when Renna tells Egwene some history of the a'dam; "...Deain's screams shook The Towers of Midnight,..." Interesting. maj

The Gathering Storm - Review with SPOILERS
|
| |
Okay, I'm posting this to good old rasfwr-j just to see what it stirs up. I suspect nothing good will come of this. This is the best WOT book I've read in a zillion years. The best since LoC. It had some really, really important and powerful scenes. It had action, stuff happened, stuff concluded...but more importantly,... more »

Spoilers: 200!?
|
| |
200 Black Ajah sisters!? Out of total a little more than 1000 sisters that's one in five. Numbers for Egwene's camp seem to indicate the same, 70 Black Ajah among a bit more than 300 sisters. Somehow I just find that too many. That would certainly not make 2 black out of thirteen Sitters a very large number, it's even less than... more »

My Spoiler-Free review
|
| |
As of this evening, I have finished reading The Gathering Storm. I got it the day it was released (Tuesday, October 27th). The fact that I finished it today proves how quick a read it is, which is surprising considering the fact that this is a Wheel of Time novel. What follows is my spoiler-free review of the book.... more »

tGS Chapter 23 (spoilers)
|
| |
Ok, so the plot has finally started to happen. Leave aside the idiocy of not stilling Semirhage immediately, even though she could be healed again at any time. Ignore also the stupidity of not using an a'dam to hold her. And, don't think too hard about the problem with leaving just 3 A.S. to shield and guard one of the Forsaken.... more »

BOOK 12 (spoilers)
|
| |
I really enjoyed the book; I hope everybody else does as well. The dream that Rand had a conversation with Moridin was very interesting. I am not sure of this, but it seems that because of the balefire they unleashed in Shaider Logoth that they will combine into one person, just guessing but all evidence seems to point in that... more »

SPOILER: Verin
|
| |
Holy mother of a goat. Seems like the Purple Ajah theories were actually closer to the truth than anyone could have guessed. Now to find out what the letter she gave to Mat entails. Verin was always one of my favorite characters, but once I got the full understanding of what she was doing, and what she had to sacrifice to achieve it... more »
