Did anyone else find it incredibly bad writing that Emma, a woman who spent
time in jail because she'd made her living dishonestly, who worked as both a
bounty hunter and a sheriff, would be so trusting that she would take a
container from a man she *knew* wasn't trustworthy and NOT check to see if
the magic bean was inside it before letting him leave?

It wasn't about trust, but assuming it would be there because she saw
him put it there-or so she thought.
