So, a shaky premise, and a not great cast, from an overrated
producer?!
Meh...

It'll end up being all about the relationships.

Johnny Sequoyah is, like, a 10 year-old girl - *how's* she gonna have
"relationships"?!...

Oh yeah, guess I didn't read that close enough. Abrams doesn't have
anything to do with a Star wars movie.

Disney has said they are definitely planning one Star Wars movie per year
starting in 2015. They plan to release an Episode of the new Trilogy every
two years and have a standalone spin-off movie on the "off years". The
rumours are that the stand-alone movies will be based around Boba Fett,
Han Solo, and Yoda. That would give a schedule something like:

2015 Star Wars: Episode VII
2016 Star Wars: Yoda
2017 Star Wars: Episode VIII
2018 Star Wars: Han Solo
2019 Star Wars: Episode IX
2020 Star Wars: Boba Fett

At the moment JJ Abrams is only in charge of Episode VII, but no doubnt
the idiot will be given the other two in the new Trilogy as well. :-( The
stand-alone movies will probably be done by someone else though.

There's also "news" that Dave Filoni is working on a new animated Star
Wars TV series, even though Disney shutdown "The Clone Wars" series
despite having many episodes of a new season completed or near-completed.

Having shutdown the recently acquired LucasArts game company, Disney have
also just announced they've signed a deal with Electronic Arts to make
Star Wars games.

Nope. Disney have announced they're planning to release the "Epsidoe"
movies every other year, with Episode VII due in 2015.

> No idea where those other three intermixed ideas came from.

It was part of Disney's announcement a few weeks ago that they would also
release a stand-alone spin-off movie (i.e. not an "Episode" of the Saga)
in each of the off-years. What the stand-alone movies will be about is
currently only rumour and fan speculation.

The news can be found all over the Internet, including here:

Possibly, although its more likely to be set a few years before Episode IV
with a younger Han Solo, but not a young kid. Something similar perhaps to
the "Adventures of Young Indiana Jones" TV series when he was a late-teen
/ early twenties.

Of course those three stand-alone / spin-off movies are only rumour and
speculation, so there may not be a Han Solo movie at all ... but there are
three movies planned to be released in those years that are not "Episode"
in the Saga.

Did you ever see The Professional? Jean Reno, Gary Oldman, Natalie
Portman. Really reasonably good and I'm sure exactly what they are
hoping for here (with the supernatural element).

I'd mention Hannah except I think the guy was her father. Or even
"Push" except that I think everybody but me hated it.
