Ok, so now Sylar is maybe hiding in his very own left buttock, and who
cares? An entire season spoiled and tainted by the idiotic ending of
the previous season. We also find out that Samuel is the new super-
powered Big Bad so I guess Sylar isn't so important anyway, although
we can guess that the two of them will have to duke it out in the
final episode.

4.40.

Lots of answers; understated reveal about Sythan.

I'm glad they wrapped the Matt-Sylar story line. It had it's moments,
but it could have easily become very tedious over a long time.

The only negative is that TPTB still don't have the balls to kill off
characters - namely Mohinder. The character hasn't had anything useful
to do since he unlocked the list in V1. In fact, his absence this season
has been completely unnoticed. It's really time to put up or shut up
with him - kill him or let his character do something that isn't moronic.

They also missed the boat to shake things up by killing off Claire
and/or Matt or rubbing Nathan out.

Overall, I'm enjoying the season and not overly annoyed by many of the
choices (other than the tight, half-out-of-frame shots that seem to be
popular this year).

First, NOTE: This episode does indeed confirm my preemptory grade-down
of the previous episode that Jim G. and DragonLady called me on - the
events of this episode played out exactly as I had anticipated, negating
important things that (supposedly) happened in the previous episode.
So my 3.4 score for the last episode stands.

Anyway:

3.85

Except for the Sylar stuff, I mostly liked this episode.

In fact, I'd say that, so far, I'm liking season #4 a lot more than
season #3.

I hope they can keep this going.

Comprehensibility does not equal predictability but really isn't it
better not knowing what happened to Sylar? It seems as though
"Nathan" purged Sylar himself and that means Sylar is dead but they
can still find a way to bring him back, can't they?

Are you watching in standard-definition 4:3, or widescreen 16:9?
Sometimes, the 4:3 versions of NBC shows look half-out-of-frame.

Bite your tongue! :)

True to a large extent, which is a shame. Because without him, the only
international flavor left on the show is Hiro and Ando, and they've been
mostly relegated to the role of comic relief.

I'm pretty sure that I'm one of only three people left in the world who
like the character (at least its potential, minus, the silly The Fly
crap) and miss him when he's gone. Heh.

4.4. Again, this show is largely back to its first season goodness, and
it's a shame that so few people are around to enjoy it. The characters
are more believable, and their motivations are more consistent
internally and understandable externally. The plotlines aren't
convoluted to the point where even the writers are confused. And Ali
Larter is in a bathtub. What more can one ask for? :)

I seriously missed out when we first found out that Mohindar was dating/married _anyone_. Though I guess they glossed it over by having her talk about how he drops off the face of the eaerth when he mixes with his dad's research.
