I've been away for a couple of months and missed all of Crusade except
the first episode.

So, how's it been?

The B5- branch off??

From the 4 or 5 shows I caught, Crusade is turning out to be a little
lame (if you watched all of the B5 runs you can't help but to be a
hanging judge). The Chacters they developed in B5 and carried over
have been changed big time. The Tech Mage with the bunch has his good
points but is truning more & more to the ways of Milk-Toast. --Which
is a shame-- he would have been a major draw.

So far the first season is a little "dry" I have to see the second
season (if it makes the cut) to make a full report ;) .

Don't hold your breath. The mail-in campaign to get Crusade canceled
seems to be having some serious effect.

This is going to sound like a sarcastic reply, but trust me when I say
it isn't intended that way...

How is this being measured, please?

Because this group is about SF TV; though you'd be forgiven for not
realising that, over the last few weeks...

In a month's time, when the new American broadcast TV season kicks
in, everything wil; be all happy and better. Instead of jihads against JMS
and Ford Thaxton we'll see all maner of posts on how much the new
shows suck. Grand, huh?

Yeah, no matter how much they make per year, the suits are always
willing to earn an extra (tax free!) five bucks. Especially for
something so simple they do it every day.

(If the campaign works, TNT should have another three hours of
wrestling on after Crusade dies.)

Hey, we can start now if you want.

I think Angel sucks. It's just an Anne Rice novel without the gay
vampires!

This season of the X-Files sucks more than the last.

Ever since Jerri Ryan's implants popped, Voyager has just been flat
and boring.

Come on everyone, join in!

I think Family Matters sucks now that Urkel is gone.

I also think Maude sucks, but just from those damned annoying
commercials on TVLand. I've never seen the actual show.

I'm so thankful for Harsh Realm. Finally, we'll get to see what Chris
Carter can do with a fresh, original subject that nobody's touched
before.

Virtual reality.

I'm sure he'll commit himself at least as admirably as, say, a
lobotomized Brannon Braga [1] hopped up on crystal meth.

same here - well, I just like saying "trust me".

Use this "Crusade Cancellation Success Index" (CCSI from now on)

CCSI = (Number of TV viewers in America) - (Number of viewers watching
Crusade episodes aired after September 1st)

Any CCSI number of higher than, say, 200 million indicates the probable
success of the campaign.

Hey, just look at how well the X-F gang did with a Gibson script. That
brilliant episode should tell you exactly what Harsh Realms will look
like.
