That was the point of my comment and for adding the sci-fi tv groups to the
thread. As noted in rec.arts.sf.tv, the TV world lately seems to be
opposed to science-fiction shows, cancelling them right-and-left; even the
few good ones that come along.

B5 aired in the U.K also.

AFAIC, Scifi has never been treated well.

(My ISP will only allow cross posting to 4 groups, which is why I
dropped 2!!)

Yeah, it got a good run here. IIRC, it was on a proper channel,
regularly, and at a good time.

I agree with the comments about he Daily Mail. It usually pedals stories
about how breathing causes cancer and immigrants are all terrorists.

Which is strange because if you look at the list of top grossing movies
of all time there's Gone With the Wind and Titanic near the top then a
ton of SF, fantasy, horror and similar before any others outside of the
speculative realm appear again. SF movies get ratings. SF TV shows get
very long lating fan bases.

Jeff Conaway will be missed. He did great work on Babylon 5, Taxi and
other projects that I've watched.

I know. I've got no smart ideas. I really don't get it at all.
