Anyone watch Disney's "Prep & Landing" on ABC last night? It was rolling
along, and at the end, Santa had a few lines...I cocked my head to listen
more carefully, and said to my husband, "That's Morgan Sheppard!" To which
he replied, "Who?," which is when I had to add, "The Soul Hunter!"

I have no reference for the show you are talking about, but William
Morgan Sheppard will always be associated with Blank Reg, at least for me.

Which brings up a question I was thinking of asking around here
anyway. Is there any place on the web, like hulu, etc., that has the Max
Headroom episodes? I have been wanting to see him again for a couple of
weeks

Rakers, the second episode of the series. A *very* *young* Wortham
Krimmer plays Jack Friday, who's got the licensing rights for Raking
sewn up and ready for Network 23.

Andreas Katsulas plays Mr. Bartlett, a Network 66 executive in the
second season

Difficult question. It had limited VHS release and has never been
released on DVD. Your only hope is avi downloads, and those aren't
official. I rely on some very worn VHS tapes, taken from broadcast TV.
I suspect your best bet is to find some channel that's showing the
episodes and record it direct (this happens from time to time, but not
very often)

I asked Michael Cassutt about a DVD or other release a few months
ago. He said the rights to such a release are so muddled (and still
in contention) that it is unlikely we will see it anytime soon.

Early this season an episode of NCIS featured Mira Furlan - South by
Southwest. Last night I noticed on my Tivo that a repeat of it
broadcast the other day.

Just to pick pointless nits, South by Southwest was last season, according
to
http://www.tv.com/ncis/show/16772/episode.html?season=6&tag=list_header;paginator;6
(you're welcome :-) ).

To bring this full circle, Morgan Sheppard was also on NCIS 4 episodes
earlier (Broken Bird); I happened to catch that episode in reruns on USA
recently. He was playing some kind of sadistic torturing inquisitor with a
big scar where one eye used to be; he'd previously been in Afghanistan with
Ducky (I missed the beginning, so I don't know the details).

I have it DVR'd, waiting for some free time. Worth the effort for any
reason whatsoever, or would you recommend deleting and forgetting?

They were both decent episodes (for NCIS). But I've become unstuck in
time and can't make it back there with consistency...

Makes me glad that I fell asleep halfway through the first part, then. We
were only watching it because my wife was named after the eponymous

When we do, we can also watch Sheppard's guest shot in the "Criminal
Minds" rerun I caught over the weekend on A&E. (The episode also
featured Jennifer Hetrick, Vash the thief from "ST:TNG" and "DS9")

Sheppard is a somewhat prolific voice actor for video games as well.
Only thing I can remember him in off the top of my head is a Medal of
Honor game, but I've caught him more than a few times when writing
reviews.
