OK, you've made your point. Yes, no-one can stop you posting binaries. But the
vast majority of readers here don't want them, period. They mean added expense
and time for people reading off-line. Posting a three thousand line message is
equal to maybe 100+ normal messages, or a quarter of daily time spent
downloading.

This is just not the right group. If we want binaries, we'll go to
alt.binaries.starwars. If you can't get alt.binaries.* groups - too bad.
Apparently your ISP doesn't want you posting or downloading binaries, so take
it up with him.

Tell me, have you had a lot of responses along the lines of: "Please, post
more?"
