He apparently didn't read LABYRINTH OF EVIL, which chronicles the tail
end of the Jedi search for Darth Sidious...where Windu nearly catches
him (even deducing the Sith Lord resides in Palpatine's building -
doesn't make the connection, though) until the giant invasion of
Coruscant interuppts everything.
