Did anyone else think that the final battle combine the Battle for
Endor & the Battle of Naboo but did them (and especially the second) a
whole lot better?

I haven't seen Avatar, but from the trailers the whole movie looks like an
extended version of the Wookiee planet battle in Episode III, only you can
understand what the blue guys are saying. Other people say it's a rip-off
(or partial rip-off) of "Dances With Wolves".

I haven't seen Dances With Wolves, but I've always assumed that it
follows the usual "Westerner becomes part of native tribe and ends up
defending them" cliches which Avatar does too.
