It was a bright cold day in August, and the clocks were striking
thirteen. Outside the Naglfahr Cafe, people were loudly celebrating
spring.

Inside the Naglfahr, two people were conducting government business.

"They want to make the planet sane," Marlene Ward said. "And the two
groups have much else in common. Athena's Angels split off from the
Apollonian Society, so I'm sure they can live together peaceably."

Oooooh, that's the sort of thing that just leads to trouble.

I'd kill the 13 o'clock, unless you *want* everybody to expect a
1984-style dystopia.
