Jonathon will be pleased to note that the latest New Scientist has an
interview with Stephen Wolfram, who btw sounds too much like the
stereotypical mad scientist to be believed in current sf, and it has this
paragraph:
"I started subscribing to your magazine when I was 8 years old," he says...
The flattery doesn't last long. "I noticed that a few years back you went
through a bad patch.... My main conclusion was that if there was a story
about something in New Scientist then it had to be nonsense."
I like a magazine that tells tales on itself.
