VACATIONING IN ATLANTA

Home of the Braves, Falcons, Hawks and Knights, Atlanta offers a
wide diversity of attractions for every interest and taste. The
chosen home of the 1995 World Horror Convention, 1995 North
American Science Fiction Convention, and 1996 Olympic Summer
Games, Atlanta is truly the Gateway City to the World! From Six
Flags Over Georgia, Stone Mountain Park, and the High Museum of
Art to Underground Atlanta, Hard Rock Cafe and the Gold Club,
Atlanta's many amusements, parks, historical sites and museums
are just moments away from the 1995 World Horror Convention.

WORLD HORROR CONVENTION 1995 MEMBERSHIP

As is required by World Horror Convention administration, the
convention is limited to 1,000 Attending members. Advance
Attending Memberships are $65 to December 15, 1994 and $75
thereafter, payable in US dollars. At-the-door memberships will
be $100.

Supporting Memberships are $25, which entitles you to all
convention publications and the right to vote for the Grand
Master Awards. Supporting memberships may be converted to
Attending memberships (even at-the-door) with an additional
payment of $50.00, provided Attending memberships are still
available.

We will allow the transfer of Attending memberships if the
following conditions are met. First, we must have a signed
letter from the current member making this request. Second, the
letter must contain the name and address of the person to whom
the transfer is being made. Memberships are not refundable.

PROGRAMMING

Programming is the traditional heart of the World Horror
Convention. We would like your input on what programming you
want to see. There will be panels and discussions related to
literature, arts, motion pictures, television, music, crossover
genres such as comics and gaming, and much more! We will also
host a live performance of the Atlanta Radio Theatre's original
dark fantasy "Cronos Beach," written and adapted by Thomas E.
Fuller. Many members have already submitted ideas or volunteered
to appear on panels. We have a fair amount of meeting space, so
we can accommodate most special requests.

Please send programming requests to: Phil Nutman and Anya
Martin, 799-3 Twin Oaks Drive, Decatur, GA 30030. Phone / Fax:
(404) 377-1553.

We'll update programming and present our schedule in our next
Progress Report; if you would like to receive it, call or write
and we'll put you on our mailing list.

GRAND MASTER AWARDS

"Each World Horror Convention shall present a Grand Master award
which shall be voted on by the paid members of the upcoming World
Horror Convention. Each member may nominate only one person for
the award. The individual with the most votes will be the Grand
Master.

"A Grand Master is a person who has had a significant influence
on your interest in and appreciation of Horror literature and
art. The person must be alive and can only win this award once.
Previous winners were Robert Bloch (r.i.p.), Stephen King,
Richard Matheson and Anne Rice; thus, they are ineligible from
any further Grand Master Awards.

You must be an attending or Supporting Member of the 1995 World
Horror Convention to vote. Your ballot must be postmarked no
later than December 15, 1994. The winner will be announced at
Opening Ceremonies, 6:00 pm on Thursday evening, March 2nd with
the award presentation to take place at Closing Ceremonies, 3:00
pm on Sunday, March 5th.

ART SHOW AND PRINT SHOP

The Art Show and Print Shop areas encompass a total of over 3,000
sq. ft. of convention space. The ceilings are 11' in height with
exceptionally good lighting. There will be approximately 125 4'
x 4' panels available for hanging 2-D art with additional tables
for 3-D art. No mail-in artwork will be accepted. A Print Shop
will also be available to those artists participating in the Art
Show. Our Art Show Director is Roseanne Stutts.

The 1995 World Horror Convention Art Show is juried; all
interested artists must submit a minimum of 3 slides (or other
representative samples) of their work. If you have already
displayed at a previous WHC, you need not re-submit samples. The
deadline for all jury submissions is December 15th, 1994.
However, since jurying will be done as submissions are received,
artists are encouraged to send their samples as early as
possible. Due to limited space, panels and tables are reserved
on a "first come" basis, based on receipt of Art Show fees and
Memberships. For rules and additional info, write to Roseanne at
2322 Creekview Drive, Martinez, Georgia 30907. Include a long
(#10) SASE and please specify WHC '95; be sure to also include a
SASE with jury submissions.

4' x 4' pegboard panels are $35; each additional panel is $20
(limit 3 total). 30" x 6' tables for three-dimensional work are
$35; each additional table is $20 (limit 2 total). A 5%
commission is taken for Art Show sales to offset credit card
expenses; a 20% commission is taken for Print Shop sales (no
hanging fee is charged for the Print Shop). Checks are made
payable to the 1995 World Horror Convention.

DEALER'S ROOM

Our Dealer's Room will feature approximately 65 six-foot tables
of the best and foremost horror and dark fantasy merchandise.
Load-in will be available both Wednesday evening and Thursday
morning. Dealer tables are available at $100 each, and must be
reserved with at least one 1995 World Horror Convention
Membership. Our Dealer's Room Director is Pat Henry. Checks
should be made payable to the 1995 World Horror Convention.
