All of a sudden, there was a loud BANG. There I was, minding my own
business in the back seat of my car, making out with my girlfriend,
and **BANG**, there it was again! Some tall, lanky yayhoo was
pounding on the hood of my car!

Well, what would YOU do? I opened the door and jumped out of my car
to face the yayhoo. It turns out that he wasn't a yayhoo, but just
some eccentric rich guy with a wide grin on his face. As I turned the
corner of the front bumper of my car, fists on the ready, the rich guy
raised his empty hands in an effort to slow me down. I looked at the
hood of my car. There was no damage, and I didn't REALLY want to hit
him, so I stopped.

As he grinned, he slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out a
small piece of paper. He handed me the paper, all the while with a
stupid grin on his face. My girl, who by now had straightened herself
and joined me at the front of the car, slipped her chin gently onto my
left shoulder. She looked down at the paper and then screamed with
delight. It was a check for a million dollars!

I learned later that my girlfriend had planned to dump me that
evening, but instead, she stayed with me for two more weeks. That was
how long it took for me to buy just about everything I had always
wanted plus a few things for her.

Well, what would YOU do? I spent it all!

** The End **

This is a simple, shallow little story that could be a lot of fun! It
might be an interesting exercise to play around with this storyline.
It was written from the POV of one of the characters. Try writing the
same story, essentially, but from the POV of one of the other
characters, either the girlfriend or the rich guy. You can write it
with about the same depth, or you may go deeper. Explore the
possibilites! Discover even more of your personal creativity! Have a
very good time!
