Clyde Milton Baker Jr. born 1956 passed away April 9th 2012.

He was a local celebrity in the music scene of Columbus GA-Phenix City
AL:

"Clyde Baker's musical talent goes beyond his instrumental skill. His
smooth, baritone voicepossesses a quality which produces a sound of
great clarity and warmth. Audiences are quickto respond to this
natural happening. Clyde hails from Phenix City, Alabama and his
matchless Southern charm [is] vividly communicated to all..."

Glaz Wind "Seems To Be No Time" (Featuring vocals by Clyde Baker):

Okay. Be sure to have a piece of chocolate with your coffee this
evening for Clyde's sake. Amen, and good riddance.

That may be what you came up with subsequent to my comment, but that's
not what you came up with because of my comment, and my comment is not
the reason you posted what you posted. Thus your use of the phrase
"since you commented" doesn't quite make sense in context.

I'm doing okay although most of us miss Clyde... on the way to
rehersal tonight for the Wednesday show, everyone involved is meeting
in Clyde's basement, where his last band The Flying Scumbolis used to
reherse.

I'm adding my new one, "Over You" to the setlist, since I know this
assembled talent pool will really take an interesting track with it:

http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_13207558

"You've been down to the bottom, baby. Hey, I've been there too. Once
thought those who'd suffered together could see it all the way
through. You gave up trying, and I guess I gave up too. None of the
King's mojo or all your charms could hold this tattered... mileu." -
Will Dockery in "Over You".

Hear it live at Katy & The Ringers w/ Will Dockery Project at Crimson
Barrel Saloon Saturday May 12th starting at 9pm.

Tried your site, but the songs wont play in firefox on linux. It's pretty

Yesterday was swamped in a good way, filmed a cable television
interview show first, which went well I think, then last night was a
massive all star tribute to our friend Clyde Baker downtown at The
Loft, which was a pure pleasure, dozens of friends showed up, most
taking the stage at times during the night.

The first glimpse online of that I just found, via the link below, me
& band doing a version of one of Clyde's favorites, "Bang A Gong":

http://youtu.be/Sy5Ap-N5sxA
I've been meaning to ask you, Corey... why did you feel the need to
insult me and Clyde's memory in this way?

Insult? LOL. Okay, please consider your chemistry, human, bean to
bean. A neurotransmitter called anandamide, a cannabinoid naturally
found in the human brain, has been isolated in cacao in quantities
significant enough to affect cognition, how you feel about things.
Anandamide is a fat known as "the bliss chemical" because it is
released while we are feeling great. Coffee of course is a stimulant
and diuretic. If you can't put two and two together, I sure as hell
can't help you.
