I'm going to be in NZ for 2 weeks. Is there anyone in the
Christchurch, Queenstown or Te Anau area that would like to meet?

It's a bit too far away for me, John. What a lovely place for a holiday.
Have fun!

Thanks! We intend to have fun. Nothing definite in the way of plans
but probably a visit to Akaroa Harbor near Christchurch and a cruise
of Doubtful Sound from Te Anau.

I was curious about the name.. and looked up Doubtful Sound.. what a
breathtakingly spectacular place. The fiords, waterfalls, and scenery are
just amazing....

My husband and I have been looking at online photos and videos of all of it
for a half hour now ;-) We would love to do that cruise one day. Hope
you'll enjoy a lovely NZ holiday, John.. looks absolutely wonderful!

Te Anau is also famous for Milford Sound. But we've been to that
several times so we're trying Doubtful Sound this time.

If you like mountains and fjords, then I recommend the South Island of
NZ.

I just found out about a fundraising event my cousin in NZ is
doing. He is planning to run 7 of NZ's "Great Walks" in 7 days to
raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. <http://7in7.org.nz/>
