What's the point of doors that have signs on them saying "Please keep
closed at all times"
Doesn't that technically make it a wall?

What was the point of going to the expense of putting a door there in the
first place if it can't be opened?

Along the same lines a movie critic reviewing the original _KING KONG_
remarked about the wall the natives had built around their village to
keep the monster out - "One is given to wondering why the natives,
after building a wall big enough to keep the monster out, then built a
door big enough to let him in."
