NEVERMORE offers an extraordinary lineup of more than a dozen first run domestic
and international horror, gothic and fantasy films! Many of the films will never
be shown in movie theaters or released on video in America. If you adore movies
like Dawn of the Dead and Shogun Assassin, you're golden. If neither of these
titles is familiar to you, then be forewarned! NEVERMORE is a festival for
grown-ups and not meant for the little ones.
This year NEVERMORE features thirteen North Carolina premieres, including the
highly anticipated Bubba Ho-Tep, starring Bruce Campbell. From John Hancock, the
director of Let's Scare Jessica to Death, comes Suspended Animation, a lean,
brainy horror fable that opens like Misery but ends like Escape From New York.
The Human BEEing is a crackerjack parody of the William Castle flicks from the
1960s. Plus so many more films and surprises to be announced!
Every screening will include classic horror movie trailers on 35mm! And don't
miss the special exhibits, vendors and door prizes!
