Depth of the Cinerama Screen at THe Plaza Sydney?

According to the Front Page article in THE Australasian Exhibitor of
3 July 1958 a contract had been completed between Stanley Warner
Cinerama Inc. of New York and Hoyts Theatres Ltd., for the
installation of Cinerama at the Plaza Theatre Sydney in September.

Sparkling or Non-Sparkling Columbia Logo for Lawrence?

When I saw first saw Lawrence at the Barclay Cinema In Sydney,
Australia at the age of about 14 the film was the 202 minutes version
and had the "sparkling" Columbia Title.
For the 1988-89 restoration they went back to the new Painting circa
1962 but I much preferred the "sparkling" Columbia logo. as was used... more »

There's been a lot of discussion about whether the latest 3D
incarnation is going to be permanent, or just a fad like the spurt in

DIAL M FOR MURDER ON BLURAY AND IN 3D

I understand that Warner's will be releasing Dial M for Murder in
3D about mid year with other 3D titles from the fifties to follow
later on. At least it will be better than the pirate 3D dvds being
currently sold on the internet .Personally I would prefer to see
HOUSE OF WAX and THOSE REDHEADS FROM SEATTLE which are more... more »

Something weird going on at Amazon. They won't ship IAMMMW to
overseas destinations but the version coming out on 7 Feb (also on
bluray) can be shipped. What is the difference between the 2
versions other than the price..Its a mad mad mad mad amazon world

Duel in the Sun(1946) Prelude Before Overture?

Looked at the DvD yesterday. There's an Overture , Exit music plus a
Prelude before the Overture..
Are there any other titles that have this?
Also were there(are there) any versions of DITS with an Intermission?
