Who knows the Microtechnica XXs 35 mm Film projector

I just use this machine at my home for projection of some historical
comercials, news flashes and so on.
Is there anyone out there who can tell me more about reducing the gearing
sound of the (lets call it that way ) the gear box. The machine has been
populair in Europe as it was pretty inexpensive while offering at that time
(1954) current standard features and quality. (as the italians still do)
Furthermore I am of course interested in short features, commercials etc.
All 35mm formats supported.
What newsgroup does address specific technical issues for projection
equipment?
