Boom pole and shock mount for ENG?

Hi

I need a boom pole fore ENG-recording on the fly, it have to bee stored
on my backpack and take a beating on the job

what about K-tek 79ccr or Rycote A5 or any better?

What shock mount can hold both my k6/me66 or EV-re50?

The K-tek 79ccr Traveler is about as short as your gonna get.
20" (collapsed state) The Rycote A5, @ 26". Unless you get a non-wired
pole and take it apart. I used to do that occasionally with a Gitzo.
The Rycote Invison series shock mounts are very highly regarded.
However the same mount would not fit both the Sennheiser and the EV...
which brings up the question; Why would you want to put a hand-held
reporter's mic on a boom?

The reason for using a hand-held mice on a boom is when i want to record
the surrounding noise from higher point or to collect other sounds where
the shotgun don't work as well, like swimming animals that you can't
locate perfect with a shotgun.
I find that there is many reason for recording whit other then a
shotgun, in my 12 years as a radio guy I have often used that
configuration whit much success

K-Tek's K-SM mount with the soft rubber will work for a 22 to 26 mm
mic very will I've done it with a Shure VP-88, which is pretty big.
