I make one that has a thumbscrew quick release also works on C-Stands and 5/8 in. Lighting stands to adapt them as Mic Stands. Ask Location Sound Corp for the GoodSound Microphone C-Stand Adaptor.
That's the other way round, but I see the correct one, too. The problem here is the $8.71 shipping for a $3 part.
Chris Balance emailed me the name of a few shops to try here in Atlanta.
You might add the fact that the Invision mount is 3/8 only with no adapter to the item specs on your web page. If I'd known, I would have bought the adapters at the same time.

Good idea. The description revision with a link to the adapter will be added by the end of today. Also, the adapter will be added to the "Microphone Accessories" category.

Because in the US most people use Rycote shock mounts on Fishpoles or Fisher Booms which all have 3/8" 16tpi spuds on them. Very few people would need to mount a shockmount and Windscreen on a stationary Mic Stand.

For most people on this group, true. However, Rycote has more in mind for the Invision series than just film/video production boompole use. I understand they are considering a 5/8" stand adapter of their own.

And the Rycote site itself specifically states that this particular mount is for studio use as well as boompole. There is even a series "not suitable for boompole use."
