On the 22nd of May 2005 Action For Tinnitus Research (ATR,
www.tinnitus-research.org), with the support of award winning actors,
William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy together with rock icons, Peter
Townshend (The Who), Paul Ryder (Happy Mondays), Danny Macnamara
(Embrace) and Foreign Secretary Jack Straw, are launching an online
auction via E-bay and the charity's www.tinnitus-research.org website,
of a series of specially created, 1 metre by 1 metre canvas portrait
paintings of the famous tinnitus sufferers to raise vital funds for
research into a cure for the 'neglected condition' tinnitus.
