In 1976 Katherine Ross filmed a sequel to "Butch Cassidy & the
Sundance Kid" as a TV movie. It was called "Wanted: The Sundance
Woman," also starring Hector Elizondo as Pancho Villa. Co-written by
Herschell Gordon Lewis, the Wizard of Gore, no less. Airing on the
Fox Movie Channel next Monday, Oct. 20, at 6pm Eastern.

Actually the "official" sequel (with William Goldman given contractual

all most folks remember from it.

Derek Janssen (huh, might rent it sometime)

That would be the prequel, but yeah, it certainly is better known.
I'd never heard of the "Sundance Woman" movie.

If H.G. Lewis co-wrote the script, it has to be good.

If we're talking about "Mrs Sundance" (as shown a few years ago by the
BBC), I've seen it, and actually thoroughly enjoyed it.

I recally it clearly. First they made a ludicrous sequel with Elizabeth
Montomgery, Mrs. Sundance, that left everybody saying "why the hell
didn't they make this with Katherine Ross" so they did, but it was too
little too late.

Third root canal - averted.
