Has anybody ever seen this film? I saw the
trailer, and really wanted to see it, but it
never came to any cinema or TV station near
me, so now I'm looking for a DVD of it,
and even Ebay is not very productive...

So I guess it wasn't a huge hit.

if you don't have a vhs player, you can pick one up for five bucks
at a used store.

But if you really want to see it, there is no reason why you cannot.

Okay, so I'll continue to look. I live in Switzerland, as you may
remember from the long gone days of alt.acting, so finding one in
a store here may be a bit hard.

Thanks, but it wouldn't work. We have PAL videos and
the USA has NTSC.
A DVD would be okay, I have a region zero DVD player,
so I can buy stuff on Ebay from anywhere in the world,
but videos, unfortunately, don't work.

Not even from France, because they have their own system;
I bought the whole series of "Les Dames de la Cote" with
Fanny Ardant and Francis Huster, which I saw on TV centuries
ago, and really liked, but the video only plays is black-
and white instead of colour because they have SECAM videos.

Of course, now one can watch the whole thing on youtube:

No!!!! Absolutely not! I'm not a user/taker person.

And thank you for the Amazon page,
so now I know the VHS is out there on PAL. I have
my own VHS tape to DVD converter, anyway.

I'll see how I can pay on Amazon - I don't have a credit
card, so I'll have to check out how paying for the VHS
will work.
